A few things to know
Before they

Do I need a Dot in ChatGPT?
Yes. Dotverse connects to your existing Dot in ChatGPT through a sign-in window. It doesn’t supply a separate AI service or ask for an API key. You’ll need an internet connection to chat.
Are these separate AI agents?
They’re custom personalities using your existing Dot. Each has a separate conversation view in Dotverse, but the underlying Dot memory is shared. Requests run one at a time. Your Dots can hand work to teammates you create.
Where do my conversations live?
Dotverse keeps encrypted copies of its conversations and drafts on your Mac, with the encryption key in macOS Keychain. Messages are also sent to your connected Dot service. Clearing local history does not clear Dot’s own conversations or memory.
What will I be able to do?
Create teammates with different roles and personalities, bring them in with @mentions, and hand work between them. Choose from 16 illustrated avatars, switch between conversations, and use light or dark mode. Dot’s advanced inputs and interactive features open in its connected window.
When is Dotverse launching?
There isn’t a launch date to share yet. Leave your email and we’ll let you know when it’s ready. We’re starting with Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.
What happens when I sign up?
We save your email for a single Dotverse launch announcement. No account to create and no newsletter. Signing up doesn’t send a confirmation email.
